چکیده

Haplogroup Q originated in Eurasia around 30,000 years ago. It is present Y-chromosomes from Asia and Europe at rather low frequencies. Since America undoubtedly one of the continents where this haplogroup highly represented, it has been defined as founding haplogroups. Its M3 clade early described most frequent, with pan-American representation. However, was also possible to find several other clades Numerous mutations have for Q, allowing analysis its variability assignment geographic origin. We analyzed 442 samples unrelated men Argentina Paraguay belonging Q; here we report specifically on 27 (xM3) lineages. tested 3 single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) by amplified product-length polymorphism (APLP) analysis, SNPs restriction fragment length (RFLP) 15 Sanger sequencing, 17 short tandem repeats (STRs). Our approach allowed us identify five subhaplogroups. Q-M3 Q-CTS2730/Z780 are autochthonous lineages represent frequent subhaplogroups, significant representation self-defined aboriginal populations, their status previously described. The aim work continental origin remaining Thus, STR haplotypes compared them authors rest world. Even when extensively studied America, some could post-Columbian human migration Middle East.

Pathogenic Hantaviruses, Northeastern Argentina and Eastern Paraguay

We describe the first, to our knowledge, cases of han-tavirus pulmonary syndrome in northeastern Argentina and eastern Paraguay. Andes and Juquitiba (JUQ) viruses were characterized. JUQV was also confirmed in 5 Oligoryzomys nigripes reservoir species from Misiones. A novel Akodon-borne genetic hantavirus lineage was detected in 1 rodent from the Biologic Reserve of Limoy.

Origin and diffusion of mtDNA haplogroup X.

A maximum parsimony tree of 21 complete mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) sequences belonging to haplogroup X and the survey of the haplogroup-associated polymorphisms in 13,589 mtDNAs from Eurasia and Africa revealed that haplogroup X is subdivided into two major branches, here defined as "X1" and "X2." The first is restricted to the populations of North and East Africa and the Near East, whereas X2 e...

passivity in waiting for godot and endgame: a psychoanalytic reading

this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...

Origin and spread of human mitochondrial DNA haplogroup U7

Human mitochondrial DNA haplogroup U is among the initial maternal founders in Southwest Asia and Europe and one that best indicates matrilineal genetic continuity between late Pleistocene hunter-gatherer groups and present-day populations of Europe. While most haplogroup U subclades are older than 30 thousand years, the comparatively recent coalescence time of the extant variation of haplogrou...

the search for the self in becketts theatre: waiting for godot and endgame

this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...
